Battery Cell
The biggest advantage of prismatic cells is its thin profile, lightweight, and the effective use of space. Due to the rectangle shape of these cells, it can facilitate better layering and increase flexibility in the products. With big capacity, less cell assembled together makes monitoring on each battery cell instead of cell string become possible. Changing defective battery cell is feasible too when there is cell failure.

Precautions
Usage Guidelines and Safety Precautions for 12.8V 100Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Energy Storage Battery:
Battery Management System (BMS):
Always ensure that the battery is connected to a compatible Battery Management System (BMS) that can monitor and control the charging and discharging processes.
Regularly check the BMS for any alerts or warnings and take appropriate action if any issues arise.
Charging:
Use only chargers specifically designed for lithium iron phosphate batteries and follow the manufacturer's recommended charging voltage and current settings.
Avoid overcharging the battery. Disconnect the charger once the battery is fully charged to prevent damage.
Charge the battery in a well-ventilated area and away from flammable materials.
Discharging:
Do not discharge the battery beyond the recommended minimum voltage to prevent irreversible damage and capacity loss.
Avoid excessive discharge currents that could lead to overheating and reduced battery life.
Temperature Control:
Operate the battery within the specified temperature range (typically -20°C to 60°C or -4°F to 140°F) to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or heat sources.
Physical Handling:
Handle the battery with care to avoid physical damage, punctures, or impacts that could lead to internal short circuits.
Avoid dropping or crushing the battery.
Storage:
If storing the battery for an extended period, ensure it is stored in a cool, dry place with a moderate temperature.
Store the battery at a partial charge rather than fully charged or fully depleted.
Compatibility:
Only use compatible equipment and components with the battery to avoid compatibility issues or unsafe operation.
Ventilation:
Ensure proper ventilation during charging and discharging to dissipate heat and prevent the buildup of gases.
Maintenance:
Regularly inspect the battery and BMS for signs of damage, wear, or abnormalities. If any issues are detected, discontinue use and seek professional assistance.
Disposal:
Dispose of the battery in accordance with local regulations and guidelines. Do not dispose of the battery in household waste.
Remember that the information provided here is a general guideline. Always refer to the manufacturer's specific instructions and documentation for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the safe usage, handling, and maintenance of the lithium battery.
