The biggest advantage of prismatic cells is its thin profile, lightweight, and the effective use of space. Due to the rectangle shape of these cells, it can facilitate better layering and increase flexibility in the products. With big capacity, less cell assembled together makes monitoring on each battery cell instead of cell string become possible. Changing defective battery cell is feasible too when there is cell failure.

  1. Temperature Management: Operate the battery within the specified temperature ranges: 0~55℃ during charging, -20~60℃ during discharge, and -20~45℃ during storage. Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures outside these ranges, as it can affect performance and lifespan.

  2. Charge and Discharge Limits: Adhere to the recommended charging and discharging cut-off voltages (14.6V for charging, 10V for discharging) to prevent overcharging or over-discharging, which can degrade battery health and safety.

  3. Current Limits: Respect the maximum continuous charge and discharge currents of 100A to prevent overheating and damage to the battery cells.

  4. Waterproofing: If utilizing the optional waterproofing feature (IP65), ensure proper sealing and protection from water ingress to maintain performance and safety, especially in outdoor or wet environments.

  5. Cycle Life Consideration: While the battery offers a cycle life of over 6000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, consider the impact of deeper discharges on overall longevity. Avoid frequent deep discharges if possible to extend battery lifespan.

  6. Monitoring and Maintenance: If equipped with optional features such as an LCD screen or Bluetooth connectivity, utilize these tools to monitor the battery's voltage, power percentage, and overall health. Regularly inspect terminals and connections for signs of corrosion or damage.

  7. Series and Parallel Connections: When configuring the battery in series or parallel to achieve different voltages, ensure proper connection and balancing to prevent overloading individual cells or modules.
